    wie wo was? ...nen bissl genauer wäre gut :)

    meinste jetzt beim intel application accelator? ...da kann man es an bzw. ausschalten, aber halt nur wenn die festplatte es unterstüzt... :)

    ne ich mein nicht bei intel, ich mein bei Maxtor. Ich hab mir eine gekauft (S-ATA 120 GB) und einen Review gelesen, dass man das ausschalten kann und dann die platte schneller ist, ohne dass sie wirklich lauter wird. Ich habe im Internet nachgeschaut, aber nirgends wo was gefunden! Könnt ihr mir weiterhelfen?

    mittlerweile hab ich das Tool von Maxtor.com runtergeladen und auch gestartet (in DOS), jedoch erkennt er meine Festplatte net, weil sie an der S-ATA Schnittstelle is. was nun???

    nimmste PowerMax oder? ...das sollte doch eigentlich mit S-ATA Platten klarkommen...haste neusten chipsatz-treiber von nvidia drauf? (glaub kann mich noch erinnerns das du das nforce abit board hast ^^ )

    ne das macht man nicht mit PowerMax sondern mit AMSET. Der findet meine S-ATA Platte einfach nicht, weil er nur auf IDE sucht! so ein Dreck!
    Ja ich habe den neuesten Chipsatztreiber drauf! (3.13) Wieso nimmt man bei solchen Programmen keine Rücksicht auf S-ATA? *kopfschüttel*

    CHIPSET.DRV erkennt deinen chipsatz nicht:


    If a controller card is installed that utilizes a chipset not found in the CHIPSET.DRV file, the card and all devices attached will not be seen by this utility. Information for the motherboard will be displayed. If all IDE devices are connected to an unknown card the utility will report that no drives were found in the system. If this occurs contact Maxtor Technical Support and provide information about the controller card so that it can be investigated and the utility updated as appropriate.
