Sony hat heute seine neue Subnotebook-Serie Vaio VGN-S4 vorgestellt. Dabei setzt man auf Intels Sonoma Plattform und den Pentium M Prozessor als Recheneinheit. Anfangs wird es das VGN-S4XP/B Modell mit 2,0 GHz und den VGN-S4HP/B mit 1,73 GHz geben. Als Bildschirm nutzt Sony ein 13,3 Zoll großes WXGA-Display mit 1280 x 800 Pixeln. Zudem soll die X-black LCD-Technologie für mehr Helligkeit und Kontrast gegenüber Konkurrenzprodukten sorgen.
