Ab sofort bietet Asus ein weiteres Entry-Level Modell der A3500N-Serie an. Das neue A3500N
verfügt über einen 1,6 GHz schnellen Intel Pentium M 725 Prozessor mit 2 MB Second-Level-Cache und einem Front Side Bus von 400 MHz. Das verbaute Display misst 15,0 Zoll (XGA) Bilddiagonale und bietet somit ausreichend Darstellungsfläche. Die weitere Ausstattung sieht wiefolgt aus: Integrierte Intel Extreme Graphics 2 mit 64 MB Shared Memory, 256 MB DDR-Speicher, 40 GB Festplatte, DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo Laufwerk und WLAN Adapter nach 802.11g Standard.
Als Betriebssystem kommt Windows XP Home Edition von Entwickler Microsoft zum Einsatz. Das neue Notebook ist ab sofort zu einem Preis von 1.049 Euro erhältlich.
