What? Hab ich da was verpasst? Die Software sieht ja sehr stark nach der NVIDIA GeForce PhysX aus.

Aber PhysX ist doch nicht hardwareseitig unterstützt, oder?? Also im Falle der HD 3850.

na muss doch. ne softwareseitige physikbeschleunigung wird es wohl nicht sein dann könnte man sich das auch sparen. -
Ich denke, da sowohl die Geforce Karten als auch die von AMD auf Streamprozessoren bauen ist der hardwareseitige Unterschied nicht so groß, als das man nicht mit einigen Anpassungen der Software PhysX auch auf ner HD zum laufen bekommt.
Die Frage ist dabei natürlich ob sowas überhaupt "legal" ist? Wegen der Lizenzen von PhysX.

Abgesehen von der Machbarkeit dürfte das wohl das größte Problem sein! Aber mal im Ernst... ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass da ein Hobby-Programmierer da mal fix die NV-Software umschreibt, dass PhysX auf Radeon-Karten läuft? -
nun, die grundcyklen der gpus sind recht ähnlich. wrum sollte es nicht möglich sein so lange ich directx auch über die cpu laufen lassen kann was viel mehr eingriffe erfordert ist eine software beschränkung ja wohl schnell zu umgehen Wie Slugger schon sagt.
