das ist viel zu viel wenn man bedenkt dass mann ein ganz gutes adus p5b für schon 70€ kaufen kann sind 250€ übertieben weil es ja wie schon gesagt für 70€schon gute mothers gibt zb das asus p5b von asus für 70€ -
ach was ich finde den preis gut, außerdem sinkt er ja nioch

Welche meinst du konkret? Kommentieren darf man grundsätzlich immer und alles, sofern der Beitrag sinnvoll ist und zum Thema passt. Das ist bei manchen Gästen leider nicht immer der Fall, weshalb wir des öfteren gezwungen sind zu löschen.Der Preis wird noch deutlich sinken wenn das Board verfügbar ist. 200 Euro wirst du aber immer noch mindestens bezahlen müssen. Für ein absolutes High-End-Board (leider) ein normaler Preis.

die sollen endlich ein test durchführen mit dem Teil, ist schon nervig, ständig zu lesen "der hat das, der hat dieses .........." zum kotzen, ich will endlich TEST sehen zwischen x38 und p35 verdammt nochmal, keiner traut sich nicht oder was, egal ob Hardware-mag, hardwaregames oder computerbase,..........ständig diese scheiß infos............ WAS BRINGT DER X38 FÜR LEISTUNG GEGEN P35 MIT DDR2 UND DDR3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

genau das ist es Sie trauen sich quasi alle nur müssen die Boards erstmal verfügbar sein. -

Es gibt momentan noch keine Testmuster, ganz einfach. Erste Boards gibts ab Ende dieser, Anfang nächster Woche. Entsprechende Tests folgen dann in den Tagen darauf.

Hallo. Ich finde das Mainboard durchaus interessant wenn man sich die Funktionen anschaut. Das es noch so teuer ist, ist ja nix neues, das ist nunmal bei gerade neuerschienener Hardware immer so. Das wird sich noch ein wenig nach unten regulieren.
Allerdings habe ich eine Frage zu der ganzen SLI und Crossfire Geschichte, die mir vllt jemand kurz aber verstaendlich erklaeren koennte.
Was genau ist der Unterschied, der es mir nicht ermoeglicht 2 NVidia Karten im SLI Modus auf diesem Chipsatz zu betreiben, allerdings es ermoeglicht 2 ATI Karten im Crossfire laufen zu lassen.
Ich habe naemlich vor mir Ende Oktober einen neuen PC zuzulegen mit der spaeteren Option auf SLI. Meine bisherige Mainboard Wahl lag beim EVGA 680i Mainboard, wobei mir dieses von ASUS deutlich mehr zusagt. Der einzige Nachteil waere dann die fehlende SLI Unterstuetzung wenn ich das richtig verstehe. Oder kann ich auch SLI auf diesem Chipsatz betreiben?

Eigentlich ganz simpel: SLI ist momentan nur auf Chipsätzen von Nvidia möglich, also auch auf dem nForce 680i SLI, da der von Nvidia stammt. Intel hat derzeit nur die Lizenz für CrossFire bei eigenen Chipsätzen á la P35, X38 etc., da Nvidia sein Treibermodell nicht veröffentlichen will und SLI damit nicht möglich ist. Ob SLI oder CrossFire funktioniert ist letztlich meistens nur eine Frage der Treiber bzw. des Vorhandenseins passender Treiber. Ergibt folgendes:
SLI: Nvidia-Chipsatz
CrossFire: AMD- oder Intel-Chipsatz -
Nvidia hat jetzt aber erst vor kurzem die Lizenz für Intel freigegebn und es wird dann wohl auch in Zukunft SLI auf Intel Boards unterstützt

Das ist so nicht ganz richtig. Nvidia macht das bisher lediglich im Falle von Skulltrail, weil man im Dual-Socket-Bereich nicht tätig ist. Zudem gibt man auch keine Treibermodelle frei sondern hat einen extra Controller für SLI entwickelt, damit man keinerlei Know-How bekanntgeben muss. Bei Single-Socket-Designs bleibt wohl Nvidia die einzige SLI-Lösung. Kann man auch hier lesen:

hatte ich auch mal ins Auge gefasst. Nur leider habe ich schon viel schlechtes ueber das Board gehoert/gelesen. Ein wenig zuviel schlechtes fuer 250+ euro. beim EVGA Board habe ich bislang "fast" nur gutes gelesen. aber ich lasse mich gerne vom Gegenteil ueberzeugen.
