Radeon 9500 Platinen von FIC: A95P und A95

Bereits gestern hatten wir über zwei neue Grafikkarten aus dem Hause FIC berichtet (News), welche auf ATi´s Radeon 9700 bzw. 9700 Pro basieren. Einen Tag später legt FIC nun gleich zwei neue Karten nach: Die A95P und die A95. Als GPU kommt hier der Radeon 9500/Pro zum Einsatz. Hier die offizielle Pressemitteilung (Englisch)...

"Taipei 24 Jan 2002- First International Computer, Inc. (FIC) has been producing graphics cards based on ATI® technology for a relatively short time but the success of the range has been phenomenal. Today, FIC is pleased to announce the launch of 2 more products based on ATI® technology. The A95 and A95P are quality products, reasonably priced and aimed at the mainstream market.

Gene Sheu, President of the FIC Networking and Information Group, is keen to promote the FIC philosophy of providing the most comprehensive range of products possible. “At FIC we aim to provide something for everyone in terms of graphics cards. The A95 and A95P are solid, reliable products aimed at the mainstream market and they will compliment the range of products already available.”

The A95 and A95P cards are based on the ATI® Radeon™ 9500 and 9500 Pro Visual Processing Units (VPU) respectively. Both models feature up to 128MB of on-board DDR video memory, 128 bit memory interface and support for AGP2x/4x/8x and DirectX® 9.0. Maximum 3D resolution is 2048 x 1536 and multiple screens can be driven simultaneously. Each model supports interfaces for VGA and S-Video.

Advanced 3D features include SMARTHEADER™2.0, SMOOTHVISION™2.0, HYPER Z™ III, TRUFORM™2.0 and VIDEOSHADER™. Windows® ME, 2000 and XP operating systems are all supported and bundled software includes the popular WinDVD software. The A95P has a core/memory clock speed of 325/310MHz and the A95 has a core memory clock speed of 275/270MHz...
