Da in Deutschland ja auch Produkte keine lebenslange Garantie gegeben werden darf frage ich mich wie lange denn nun die Garantie ist.

Soweit ich weiß 10 Jahre. In jedem Fall ausreichend. -

Diese Regelung wurde, hochstwarscheinlich durch Lobbyisten der Industrie, "zum Schutz der Verbraucher durchgesetzt".
Die maximal zusicherbare Garantiezeit beträgt jetzt hier in Deutschland 30 Jahre.
Die Firma AMC bewirbt z.B. ihre Produkte mit dem Spruch "Garantie über 30 Jahre". Schön eindeutig zweideutig. -

Tupper z.b. hat auch 30 Jahre. ich glaube es gibt garkeine speicher hersteller mehr mit weniger als 10Jahren !

Naja aber solche Garantiezeiten auf PC-Komponenten zu geben ist doch eh totaler humbug. Wer benutzt denn heute noch seinen vor 10 Jahren gekauften Hauptspeicher!?
Und die paar dies noch tun und dann ihre Garantie in Anspruch nehmen die kann man auch noch verkraften. -

Auch wenn das Produkt nach ein paar Jahren nicht mehr zu gebrauchen ist. -
naja nur darf dies halt in deutschland nicht mehr geschehen. DArum wäre es auch schön sowas nicht in News zu schreiben
OCZ hat auf meine Anfrage übrigens folgendes Geantwortet :

hihi liegt bestimmt einfach daran das sie keine Zeit angeben müssen/wollen da die LEute dann eh (wenn keine Garantie mehr drauf wäre (nehmen wir mal 10 jahre)) neue Speicher kaufen
